In far 1952, Alfonso Valentinis and his son Claudio, during their first vacation by the sea and the economic boom, fell in love with this peninsula full of sand dunes and pines, quoted in many texts by the famous American writer Ernest Hemingway as "the Florida of Italy". They acquired a property in a privileged position between the beach and the centre, from the then Società Lignano Pineta, to build their tourism business on a single floor for hotel & restaurant. A project called "ERICA!", taken from the native Pineta plant, which was selected and built by the later internationally famous architect Gianni Avon from Udine.
Over the course of its three generations, the Valentinis have grown their little "Erica" and evolved it to the current hotel SUITE ERICA LIGNANO ★★★★. Modernity and tradition, design and simplicity meet in a sense of life and well-being, maintaining the taste and hospitality of a typical hotelier family with charm and dedication.
Alberto Valentinis and his whole team will welcome you.
